For those of you who are keeping up on Snow White...

Snow White (aka Suki)--ADOPTED TO A SPECIAL FAMILY--This little girl is going to be a companion to a burn victim who needs help in mobility. Hope is 10 years old and had been burned from the chest down at age 4. She requires surgery each year so that her skin can "grow" with her. She lost her therapy dog to cancer last year and since she fares so much better with a companion, Suki is now her new companion! She will be training to pick up things and will wear a companion vest to carry things as well. Our thoughts and prayers will be with both of them as they learn to work together. Her mom says, "So far, Suki has learned to ring a bell to go outside, pick up a pencil (without chewing it up first!), and sit quietly for an extended period of time. She is really doing well and has such a sweet, docile disposition. We have never had such a calm puppy!"

Snow White is about as white as I've ever seen a goldendoodle puppy. She has a silky-fine ruffled coat that is oh, so soft. She was the smallest at birth, and is petite still, at least compared to the others. She eats well and was Tiana's favorite, which means lots of spoiling! She has recovered from a series of unfortunate events. The first unfortunate event was when no one noticed the puppies who wandered toward the road. Next was the car that came by, then the two broken legs, but miraculously, no inner injuries.

When she was three weeks old she fell sick and wouldn't eat. After feeding her with a syringe and adding fluids under the skin with a round of antibiotics, she perked up at 2:30am one night and has been strong and healthy until the recent accident. For weeks she was the sweetheart of the living room and everyone would pet her as we went about our daily business. We are convinced that she was saved both times for a very special purpose and we have found her a very special place to be.
